This hands-on program gives participants a chance to explore the inner workings of a computer. Using an old PC for demonstrations, participants will learn to identify key components such as the CPU, GPU, RAM, motherboard, storage, and PSU, and understand their functions. The course covers how to safely clean and replace parts, the tools needed, where to source components, and how to check compatibility. Participants will also learn basic troubleshooting, virus removal, and maintaining PC health through software updates, defragmenting, and benchmark tests.
To make learning interactive and fun, participants may also use PC Building Simulator, a digital game that teaches building and repairing PCs in a realistic, hands-on way. All activities combine practical skills with engaging, gamified learning.
