SLES (School Leavers Employment Support) Bakery Program participants will learn essential baking skills, including measuring, mixing, decorating, and presentation, with a focus on consistency, precision, and creativity. Neurodiverse young people will gain hands-on experience with classic and contemporary baking techniques, covering a variety of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cookies, and cakes.

The Bakery SLES Program also covers food safety, kitchen protocols, and organisational skills, preparing participants to work confidently in busy kitchen environments.

Additionally, NDIS supported school leavers will learn how to adapt recipes for dietary needs and customer preferences. Graduates will be equipped for careers as bakers, pastry assistants, or to start their own baking business.
