In the Barista Skills SLES Program at Diverse Pathways, participants will learn essential barista skills, including coffee brewing, espresso preparation, milk frothing, and latte art. Young people will gain hands-on experience in grinding, tamping, and serving coffee, with a focus on consistency, efficiency, and cleanliness in a busy environment.

The Barista Skills School Leavers Employment Support (SLES) Program also covers customer service, teamwork, and workplace organisation, preparing participants for a professional barista role.

With step-by-step training and job-search support, NDIS supported participants will develop the technical skills and confidence needed to succeed in cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants, ready to pursue employment in the coffee industry.
