In Diverse Pathways School Leavers Employment Support (SLES) Basic Car Care program, young people will learn essential car care skills, including fluid checks and refills, tire maintenance, battery inspection, and basic repairs like replacing headlights and wiper blades. SLES Car Care Program includes training in car cleaning techniques for interior and exterior upkeep. The SLES Car Care program emphasises safety procedures, ensuring participants understand proper tool use and maintenance tasks.
By acquiring these practical skills, SLES participants will enhance their independence and confidence in managing their vehicles. The program fosters empowerment and inclusion, preparing participants to easily handle everyday car maintenance, contributing to a sense of accomplishment and self-sufficiency.
