Participants of Introduction to Woodwork SLES Program will develop foundational woodworking skills, including tool use, material selection, and essential carpentry techniques. They will receive safety training, obtain their White Card, and use OnGuard Safety’s online platform to ensure proper handling of tools and equipment. Through hands-on projects, they will learn to operate hand and power tools while mastering cutting, assembling, and finishing techniques.
The Introduction to Woodwork SLES Program also fosters teamwork, communication, and problem-solving in a supportive group setting. By the end, participants will have the confidence and practical skills to pursue further carpentry training, woodworking as a hobby, or potential career opportunities in the field.
