Participants of Greenkeeping Essentials SLES Program will learn essential greenkeeping skills, including turf management, mowing techniques, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control. They will gain hands-on experience in operating and maintaining greenkeeping equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems.

 

Diverse Pathways' Greenkeeping Essentials SLES Program emphasises sustainable practices like water conservation, soil health, integrated pest management, and native plant landscaping.

 

NDIS participants will also benefit from therapeutic effects, such as stress reduction and improved mood, while building practical life skills. By the end of Greenkeeping Essentials SLES Program, school leavers will be equipped to care for green spaces and pursue employment opportunities in grounds maintenance and environmental stewardship.
