Our Craftopia program encourages children to explore their unique and creative self through craft and collaboration. With activities like drawing, painting, sculpting, jewellery making, papercraft and more, children work on collaborative and creative projects to enhance their mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
PROGRAM PURPOSE AND GOALS:
Diverse Forms of Self-Expression:
Creating unique art helps children explore their identity, interests, and preferences, building a stronger sense of self. With access to a variety of creative activities, children have a range of options to express themselves in ways that feel most natural or engaging to them.
Emotional Regulation and Coping Skills:
Art activities provide a safe way for children to express and process emotions, helping them develop healthier ways to cope with stress, anxiety, or frustration. Through the creative process, children become more aware of their feelings and gain insight into how emotions influence their actions, promoting emotional intelligence.
