Build life skills, explore industries, and prepare for meaningful employment in a supportive, neurodiversity-affirming environment.
Are you looking for NDIS School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) programs on the NSW Central Coast that truly understand and support the needs of neurodiverse young people?
At Diverse Pathways, we offer inclusive and empowering SLES group programs designed for autistic teens and young adults, and those with disability, who are transitioning from school into employment or further life skills development.
Our programs are based at our peaceful Mardi property, just 5 minutes from Wyong, and combine real-world experience with hands-on learning across multiple industries — all in a supportive, structured, and neuroaffirming setting.
What’s included in the Diverse Pathways SLES experience?
Our programs run 2 days a week for 10 weeks, across 4 terms per year and are designed to help participants:
Build confidence, communication, and independence
Develop essential life skills like time management, budgeting, meal planning, self-care, and organisation
Explore career pathways with hands-on, practical learning in real industry environments
Make friends, gain community experience, and work towards NDIS goals
Explore Our SLES Skill-Building Streams
Each stream combines life skills and industry-specific learning, helping participants develop real-world capabilities for personal and professional success:
Hospitality & Barista Skills – Café prep, food safety, teamwork, and customer service
Horticulture & Garden Maintenance – Landscaping, planting, and sustainability practices
Carpentry & Handyman Skills – Safe tool use, construction basics, and project work
Technology & Digital Literacy – Computer skills, digital safety, and creative design
Retail & Administration – Stock control, customer interaction, cash handling, filing, and workplace etiquette
Creative Arts & Expression – Art projects, design skills, and creative thinking
